Organic SEO vs PPC

Author: I am currently being courted by someone wanting SEO done (maybe), they currently spend $1000 a month on PPC and have been for over 2 years, and never had a sale and you can’t find the site in the SERP’s except for either the businessname or obscure key phrases.
I’m suggesting that they use the money they are spending on PPC on organic SEO… Organic SEO is ranking well in search engines naturally….
… the client to be is dithering, thinking that at least the site is getting about 500 visitors regularly… and can’t seem to understand… yet, that maybe a month or 2 with few visitors is worth it is if then the site ranks well in the search engines naturally without having to pay PPC forever more.

How Long does SEO Take? That’s a reason question, unfortunately the answer is it all depends. First do you mean
How long does SEO take to DO? In other words, if you hire an seo to do your seo, how long will it take for them to their magic tricks?
This really depends on your SEO budget, how skilled your SEO is, and how often google and other search engines are visiting your site…. and if your site is search engine friendly in the first place. With my clients, I generally start on the SEO fairly quickly.
I do basic SEO, things that will make the search engines take notice, and start looking around the site more frequently, while the search engines are doing their thing, I do research finding out what are the best SEO strategy’s for this particular site considering the budget.
implement those strategy’s which use the budget in the best way. then if the clients budget allows I will carry on with the SEO making the website rank well permanently for highly sort after keyphrases. So the answer is,
A few days from when the SEO starts, for basic seo.
How long does SEO take to WORK?
For the seo work to start to appear in search engine rankings, can take anything from a few hours, to a few weeks, a lot depend on how often search engines are visiting the site, and if the navigation within the site is search engine friendly. (that’s one reason I make quick changes, so I can see google progress through a site) I’m working on a site at the moment, it has over 300 pages, and yet google has only found 7 pages for a sitewide change I made over a week ago, just as a test.
Obviously something is very wrong. The problem is, the first results in search engines aren’t final. So if you have SEO done and your site ranks #3 within a few days, then chances are that ranking will only maintain for a short while, it depend a lot on how popular the keywords are you are wanting to rank highly for.
In saying above I have worked on sites that don’t want to rank for competitive keywords, or are niche sites, and their sites have ranked well quickly and stayed ranking highly for one phrase, we then branched out and started working on different keywords.

Great SEO what can you expect from SEO
Many times prospective clients expect a lot from SEO, yet don’t consider it is worth much paying for.
It is possible, I have done it several times, to have not only 1 of a sites pages listed at say #1 on the search results page, but also if enough is invested in a good SEO like me, to also have say 9 or 10 results on the first page of google search results, or any search engine for that matter.
At present, doing a search for
the first result for the map is our site then the next 11 results under the map are also for our SEO services here in San Diego. I could have done the SEO in such a way as to have 4 or 5 listings in the map section of the search, but didn’t want to be greedy… 
A search for
seo hillcrest
we have 9 out of the first page of results,
seo services hillcrest
we take the first 8 rankings, as we do for hillcrest seo, SEO Services San Diego
,
And many searches for combination’s of above we have at least 4 often 6 results on the first page of google search results, and if I’m very honest, I spend very little time doing out own seo anymore. If i worked on it more, I could rank highly for just
SEO San Diego
but I’m happy with 3rd in the map section and 3rd 4th and 5th in the natural or organic seo results.

hide_my_ip program posting so support staff can read my reply
The support Staff of hide_my_ip program haven’t been able to “see” my replies to 11 emails I have replied to them asking for a refund, after their program didn’t work, so I’m posting the email I have emailed them 11 times here and will post it on facebook as well, they must be able to see it somehow. I have cut the same aol, same old replies from them out to make it easier for them to read.
I hope you can see it now, I’ll leave this here, so other people that might have the same problem can compare issues.
Ok, if you don’t see the reply this time, I’ll post it to facebook, my blog and twitter the link. In fact I’ll go do that now, as there’s no reason you shouldn’t get my replies.

In order for us to determine why, or how, your IP address is not being hidden by Hide My IP, we need to know some additional information.
1. Are you visiting a website that is telling you what your real IP address is?
- If yes, please provide the URL.

2. What process or activity are you engaging in with your browser, if any, that indicates to you that your IP is not being hidden?
Analyzing website statistics, my usual IP has named so I can tell when I visited sites, and that IP is still the same as usual.
3. Are you receiving any error message from the software to indicate that the software is not functioning correctly?
No, it looks like the software is working, until I see my usual IP showing… that is why I didn’t ask for a refund earlier, and tried so hard to make this program work, I want it to work, but it isn’t.
- If so, type out the error message(s) in a reply.
4. What version of Hide My IP do you have? (1.9, 2007, 2008, 2009, 5.0) 5.0
5. What browser(s) are you using and if you’re using Firefox, have you installed our plug-in?
Firefox and IE and no I didn’t
6. What anti-virus software (if any) do you have and its version?
Panda 2010
7. What anti-spyware or anti-malware software (if any) do you have and its version?
none
8. What other “IP hiding” software do you have installed (if any) at the same time?
None
9. Are you clicking “Hide IP” on the main window of the software?
Yes I did
10. If yes, does the software tell you if you have a faux IP address?
Yes it said somewhere in England, or japan, or somewhere else in the USA.
Please provide additional details not covered in the previous questions to assist us in troubleshooting this issue.
I don’t have the program anymore, after installing it on my laptop, I started to get bluescreens, and after unistalling and installing several times as instructed, with reboots after ever uninstall and reinstall, that laptop evenly wouldn’t start at all, it’s only 2 years old, or wouldn’t get past the windows start screen. I don’t know if it was the IP program, but it was the only thing I have installed in about 6 months, so I’m guessing it was.
I managed to get a copy of my emails, but otherwise I lost over 100 gigs of data I am trying to find on backup files, I really don’t have time to write these emails to you for a program that I think killed my windows installation, and that I don’t have anymore.I’m using another computer until my laptop can be reformatted.
I have lost enough, I just want a refund please.

I wrote complaining the issues soon after I installed the paid version, and was sent an email reply with a list of things to do. Nothing worked, the program kept saying it was working but when I checked on a what’s my ip type site the ip’s I was SUPPOSED TO Have wasn’t the IP it was showing, it was my same old IP I’ve always had.
I have since changed computers, and reformatted the old computer, there are no versions of the program anywhere, and I want a refund to my paypal account at lynny@canzdesign.com
Please see to this asap so I can buy a ipmask that works.

There are a few reasons why your IP may have not been hidden while using the software:
1. There are 2 (or more) versions of the software installed in your computer 2. The computer was not restarted after the install and/or 3. The browser was still up and running during the install, it was not closed, and Hide My IP was activated when the browser was already running
To determine if any of the above was a reason for your IP not being hidden, then please do the following:
1. Completely uninstall all versions of the software from your computer.
2. Delete all saved copies of the software from your hard drive.
3. Reboot (re-start) your computer.
4. Please install or re-install the software *only* from the links provided here and not from any previously saved copies of the software or from a CD ROM:
