How fast does a new website get in Google

Many people want to know how long it takes to get a new website into search engines.

It can and does depend on your SEO or web designer skills, and  the website design, use of menu’s etc, but to give you an example of how quickly our CMS wesbsites get into google. All our sites have to be built on a passworded server at a different address, because they get into google so quickly.

Yesterday our latest website  went live, last night 11 hours later the h0me page was already in google.
Today (22 hours later) 14 pages are in google, the site has 16 pages in total. I expect these last 2 pages to be in google by this evening and will this confirm later.

On the other hand, yesterday I was checking a website built by a friend who is also a webdesigner, the site has never been passworded, and she started building it over 3 months ago, and although she has made links to the site in facebook and twitter and a couple of other social media websites, and had some visitors, not even the home page was yet in google.

I mentioned this fact to her 12 hours ago, and she asked me “Do something” so I waved my SEO magic wand (about an hours work) , told her about problems within the site, that would stop search engines getting into internal pages and today 3 pages are in google.

Good SEO and Website-design, make the world of difference to how quickly a search engine will index a website.

Website Marketing New Online Store

Website Optimization for an Online Fancy Dress Business in UK

Working with a reasonable budget for SEO makes a massive difference to the outcome of the SEO.

Website opened on 14th December 2009, total sales until Mid March mostly came from google adwords, the client was spending about $400 a month on adwords, the site was getting between 0 and 14 visitors a day. and making an average of 17.5 sales a month (adwords was eating 82% of profits)

In Mid March 2010 a client paid me $15.000 NZD,($10,000 USD) and told me, Market my website anyway you can, go for it, do what you have to do, I want sales!!!  I trust you 100%

I won’t bore you with I did, but I put in a lot of hours… and in just 109 days, the site is receiving an average of 172.3 highly targeted visitors, and is not using adwords at all and sales have been as follows.

119 sales June 2010
69 sales May 2010
55 sales April 2010 (Stopped Adwords 17 April)
26 sales March 2010 (started on 17th March)
18 sales Feb 2010
13 sales Jan 2010
13 sales Dec 2010

Already in 109 days from the sales made, savings in adword budget, the SEO and cost price of the costumes sold is paid. From here on sales will be about 65% profit.

I predict at least 150 sales for July and then a steady increase to about 200 sales a month by Christmas 2010 when the site will be 1 year old. These sales will stay the same on average over the coming years, increasing as the client add’s new products.

Some of the SEO I have done is still only just starting to work yet, but I have finished working on the site.
