Not to be mistaken for new page indexing that Google now offers 24 hour on demand page indexing for existing sites that have deployed Google Site Search on their sites. However “On Demand Indexing” now offered by Google can be useful if you decide to get serious about your hot trends business and run a Word Press Blog on your own domain. More on that later.
Site indexing is just that. Getting your new web site or blog’s domain name (URL), indexed into it’s search engine database. There is no hope of attaining any search engine position, low or high, without Google first doing what is called spidering the Internet with “Bots” that go out and search for new sites and new information on existing sites. These bots are generated from the numerous data centers Google has around the world. When they spider for indexing is a closely held secret. It is not on any regular schedule.
I can remember before Google was even in existence and it taking weeks to sometimes months to get a site indexed in what was the hot search engines and directories of the day. At least not in the time frames we need to get them indexed in. so we’re not going to rely on them being indexed and certainly not getting 1st page search engine results. Be proactive and getting our own traffic is the key.
However I have seen the methods listed below get a brand new blog indexed in less that 24 hours. That is livable in the fast paced world of hot trends marketing. I will occasionally not mess with the following processes if I found a hot trend that is pretty iffy. I won’t take time spending time on something that is a long shot. Why do I take iffy long shots? Because I can afford the time or am between other projects when I do. And it’s kind of a kick when I do go for a long shot and it pays off.
With that in mind, it is still worth employing a couple of tricks I’ve learned along the way. These action steps will only take you a few minutes once you have the process down.

Do You Need Traffic To Your Website? Then Go Get It
If you’ve had a website for any period of time, you’ve realized that traffic doesn’t magically appear. When I started on the Internet I think this is what I thought. I must of thought that the Internet was like the movie Field Of Dreams, and if you built a website, the traffic would come. I quickly found out that this wasn’t at all the case, and actually not even close to the case.
As a matter of fact I found out that you don’t magically get any traffic. You have to go out and get traffic. What do I mean by go out and get traffic? You have to write articles, and do book reviews, and go to forums, basically anything where you can get your website “out there” via a resource box. You simply can’t expect the traffic to magically appear, because it doesn’t.
You also need to optimize your site for the search engines. This should be done while you build it, or you will simply have to redo the stuff that needs done. I’ll let you research the SEO process yourself, because once you open that can of worms, you’re going to have worms freakin’ everywhere! Just don’t fall into the trap of thinking you can pay someone 50 bucks a month and be dome with SEO. This is not true.
The bottom line is that if you don’t have a big budget to spend on advertising and employee’s you need to get creative and go out and get traffic for your website, and if you’re reading this article I would have to assume the big budget and team of employee’s isn’t a viable option. So stop reading this article and start writing some, because writing articles is a good way to drive traffic.

So you’re interested in making money online. I’m assuming that because you’re reading an article with this title. The biggest obstacle to making money online is navigating through all of the crap floating around the making money online toilet. And let me tell you something, there’s a lot of crap. My first piece of advice is to stop kidding yourself into the fact that it’s simple and easy to make money online.
Before I go any further, let me make it abundantly clear that I have no vested interest in you making money online. I’m not selling any e-book or trying to recruit you into a program. My website has nothing to do with any of those things, it has to do with fishing. I simply want to tell you some of what I’ve learned with the hopes that it may save you some time and money. I realize how incredibly frustrating figuring this “online” thing out can be, so I just wanted to offer my take.
The first thing, as I eluded to before, is that you need to stop kidding yourself into thinking making money online is simple, easy, or quick. Many people, myself included, fall into the trap of thinking that money can be made hand over fist simply because there’s a website involved. This is simply not true. Making money online is exactly like making money anywhere else. Many people who want to sell you a “business opportunity” will lie about this fact and make it seem as if making money online is somehow different. Making money online is in no way different than making money in any other business, and surely not because it has the word ‘online’ attached to it. But these weasels want to make it seem as if it’s different simply to get your money.
If you have the intention of making money online you need to educate yourself about the internet before you begin. These ‘weasels’ that I’m speaking of prey on people who aren’t aware of some of the simplest things. I’m not saying that you have to become a tech dork, just educate yourself a bit as to how the Internet works. Look into things such as: affiliate marketing, driving traffic, SEO (search engine optimization), and article writing. Especially the subject of traffic. You need to have a plan in place as to how you’re going to get people to your website. Don’t do what I did, and jump in to the swimming pool known as the Internet with no real Internet experience or self education. You might almost drown while trying to get a lot of it figured out.
My last piece of advice is to not think that you can solve this puzzle quickly. As I’ve said making money online is exactly like making money elsewhere, and making money almost never happens overnight. Again, this is where the ‘weasels’ do their best to convince you otherwise. They will make it seem as if making money with their “system” is easier than taking a breath! Remember what your Mom told you, if it sounds to good to be true, it IS. If you want to really make money online make sure that your passionate about the subject as well. You see, if your passionate about the subject, you won’t care about money, and then the money will follow. It’s when we do things simply for the promise of money that we get in trouble.

In all honesty affiliate marketing is a wonderful way to make money, it just doesn’t happen overnight. Not by any stretch of the imagination. The premise behind affiliate marketing is simple. Companies pay you a percentage of each sale for referring visitors to their site. In other words if someone click on a link for a widget on your site, the link takes the person to your affiliates site. If they then purchase the widget, you get a percentage of that sale. Affiliate marketing is truly a wonderful system. You never have to touch a product, and you get paid. You don’t have to have a warehouse full of product, you don’t have to ship anything, you don’t have to complete the transaction, and you collect a piece of that transaction. Now, before dollar signs start ringing in your head, that’s just how it works. Getting people to convert, that is buy something, is the work. You don’t have to do all of the things mentioned earlier, but you do have to help people make the decision to buy.
Not only do you have to help them make the decision to buy, you have to refer a lot of people to your affiliates site in order to get sales. So affiliate marketing is really about getting traffic to your site first and then referring that traffic to your affiliates site. And my friends, getting traffic to your site is not an easy thing to do. That’s where the work comes in. You may not have to stock or ship the product, but you do have to get visitors to visit your website and then visit your affiliates website, which is by no means a quick and easy thing to do.
That, in a nutshell, is what affiliate marketing is and how it works. The premise is wonderfully simple and affiliate marketing is a wonderful way to make money. Just don’t think of it as a way that you’re going to get rich quickly. As with anything of value on this spinning rock we call earth, making money doesn’t happen quickly. You must provide value to your customer, or in this case your visitor in order to make money. And remember, just slapping a flashy banner ad on your website isn’t going to amount to anything more than having a flashy banner on you website.

That being said, in many cases the existence of only a few large companies in a market may serve to scare off any one seriously considering a business in this area. This of course applies to those markets tied to geographical locations or online enterprises. Can a small enterprise truly compete against such monstrosities? In many cases the answer is a resounding no. In some areas however, a small company can actually thrive in the shadow of a large corporation. There are several reasons for this.
The foremost reason for this is the fact that many customers feel disenfranchised with large box stores or large online retailers. If the product they are interested in very specific, then the depth of knowledge a large chain may have may actually be less than one might expect. If you interested in learning the Zulu language for example, you may very likely find greater expertise and greater awareness with smaller stores than you might with a large language company that only produces the top thirty or forty languages.
Another issue is that many large companies, especially online, are often reticent when it comes to provides live operators or even direct phone numbers. Even regular and long term customers can grow quite frustrated to learn they must file an electronic ticket to have their complaint or question answered. Answering phones can certainly a be concern for a small shop, but a live person is often what reassures the person that they their orders will be handled probably and their future inquiries will be addresses by a real person.
Despite their deficiencies, this is not too say that large companies don’t have clear advantages.
They have seemingly inexhaustible funds when compared to most endeavors, and their reach in terms of branding can seldom be surpassed. Picking the right niche and understanding your competitors’ weakness however can produce a long lasting alternative for many customers and allow you to compete successfully.

Finding the time to do your own website marketing.
A post I made on a forum, I thought was worth sharing… one of the members there said this
My biggest question is – who has the time for all this ‘online marketing’? While I have added my details to common directories, try to post at least 1 blog per month and follow the odd chat … I really struggle to find time to spend hours researching ‘the latest’. Tips appreciated!

Blogging, Tweeting, Facebooking, Linkedin, and other social media sites are all just ways of getting potential clients to your blog and then website, if you don’t want to pay someone like me to market your business online, then you have to do it by trial and error, and quote frankly wasting hundreds of hours trying things out, that don’t work, I’ve done that years ago, and now know the tricks of the trade.
And I’m still trying out new things, to see what works and what doesn’t, but generally, some things work for some businesses other don’t, so I have to know how each thing works, so I can use the right combination for each business I work with.
I guess most of you know, I’m and SEO, I make websites findable in search engines, and more importantly make it findable for that websites potential customers.
Anyone can get people to their website, that’s easy, and what most people that say they are search engine optimisation or website optimisation experts do, they get people to your website, the trick is to get people ready to click the paypal button, write an email, pick up the phone and call you, that’s what Pro SEO’s do.
EG: I have a client who is a dentist, and while he only gets about 400 visitors a month to his website, which is lousy, but read on…
I’ve been working on his sites since the end of Jan 09, in Feb he got 2 new patients, and in March another 14 new patients, and now he’s averaging between 12 and 19 new patients every month coming directly from the site I optimize. You do the math at the % of visitors that view his website that become patients, it fantastic. Better than any other form of advertising.
He made a healthy investment in SEO of almost $35,000 USD, he said at his had a ROI in 4 months. We are only at month 7 of a 14 month SEO campaign.
This dentist said to me from the start, that he’s a dentist, and doesn’t want to know what I do, just make his website work. He actually asked me a few months back to stop optimizing his site, because he had to get a larger office and hire another dentist and staff to handle all the new patients he was getting.
On the other hand I had a new client a few years getting a respectable 8-10,000 visitors a month, and not getting any sales to speak of. that site now gets around 12,000 visitors, and the owner makes an income enough to live on, she could do a whole lot better, but she’s not willing to do the work herself or pay me to, she seems happy with getting a few hundred a week.
My point is, to have an online business, and have that business be successful, you either have to pay someone like me, or do the work yourself making the investment in your business in sweat equity. Just ask Frances from Breastmates.co.nz about investing sweat equity in a business, she is a inspiration I can tell you, that woman is a dynamo and it’s paying off.
I wrote an article years ago, before social media was the in thing, setting out the investment you must make in your websites to just get it optimised, and doing well in search engines, you might find it interesting.

What exactly is SEO? It’s an acronym and stands for search engine optimization. The theory is to optimize your website so that the search engines will like it, and then rank you height for search results. For example if you sell pork sandwiches, and someone types the phrase “pork sandwiches” into a search engine, ideally you would like your website to be the first result. The theory is if your website is the first result, you would then receive a bunch of traffic, which you would. That is if people actually search for the term “pork sandwiches”. The bottom line is that SEO is optimizing your website so that it’s friendly to search engines.
When we were rookies, our webmaster said if we spent fifty bucks a month he could “optimize” our site so that it would be in the top search results. What he didn’t explain, and I realized later, was that all he was doing was submitting the site to search engines. Terms that were proprietary were ranking well on most search engines, in fact these terms ranked number one. He said to me once, “those are good terms”. Then I realized the truth. Of course they were “good terms” and we ranked very high on search results. It was because no one searched for these terms because they were proprietary! The public didn’t know what a “gang hook” was, so of course if you type the term gang hook into Google, our site would come up. We quickly stopped paying fifty bucks a month for something that was accomplishing nothing! And just so you know, we’re still at the top for the term gang hook.
The problem is that this is the type of thing that happens. When you’re new to the arena, people take advantage of the things you don’t know. The bottom line is that optimizing your site takes time. You have to pick the phrases that you want to optimize, and then incorporate them into your site. And phrases that are incredibly popular (and get searched for a lot), are out of reach to the average website. No one wants to admit this, but it’s true.
The bottom line is that optimizing your website takes time and effort. You have to exchange links with other websites, write articles, distribute press releases, and anything else you can think of to get your website noticed. Don’t be like we were and think that you can simply pay a company fifty bucks a month and end up in the top ten search results for terms actually relating to your website. This is a fallacy, and you might as well save your money. Think about it (which is what we should have done), if it were as simple as paying fifty bucks a month, wouldn’t everyone and their brother be in the top ten results? It’s unrealistic to assume that SEO is that simple. Keep plugging away, doing the things such as those mentioned here and the results will come in time.

The entire landscape of home business opportunities is full of more snakes than that tomb in the first Indiana Jones movie. There are weasels out there proclaiming that you can have a home business and they will do most of the work for you. All you have to do is by into the “business” and collect the checks. I put the term business in quotes because in the case of 99% of home business opportunities out there the term is used more loosely than a freshly opened can of creamed corn. Honestly, how realistic is it that you can make money with little or no effort? I’ll let you in on a little law of the universe…IT’S NOT REALISTIC.
Do you know what’s interesting about this? I’m a guy who has a successful home based business. I have a business that I work out of my home, and make money. I simply want people to realize that the fact that the business is conducted out of my home means nothing. It hasn’t been “easy” and no one else has done the work for me. This is my point. The idea of a home based business is a joke. It makes no difference where the business is conducted from.
So, as you navigate the mine field known as home based business opportunities, remember: If you don’t follow your passion, you’re in trouble. You must fell passionately about whatever it is that you do, or what’s the point? We all came to this earth to find and fulfill our destiny, and that means that there aren’t any shortcuts. And as you tip toe through this mine field, please remember what your Mother told you: If it sounds too good to be true…..IT IS!!!!!

Let’s Complain About the Recession Only If These 4 Are True
I feel like I’m almost expected to complain at the sound of the “R” word when it comes up in conversation. But see, I refuse to complain. In fact, I say to business owners, let’s complain about the recession only if these 4 things are true for you in your business:
1) You obsess about marketing your biz
And I mean obsess in a good way – an unwavering determination to do consistent marketing. Most of the folks I work with are solo entrepreneurs who sell a service. We do our own marketing. Unfortunately, our marketing tends to be inconsistent. And from my experience that was true long before the “R” thing hit. It may be more accurate to say the recession exposed the flaws or weaknesses in many of our businesses – one of which is inconsistent marketing.
And I don’t mean spending more money on marketing necessarily. I mean we get creative and we become determined to discover more no-cost/low-cost marketing options. There are countless no-cost ways you can implement immediately.
As I always say “Marketing is the gas in your business engine.” So my question is this… How much are you obsessing about having a multi-pronged approach to consistently marketing your business in this new economy. If you’re not, you may not want to complain about recession just yet. You’ve got some untapped, income-generating marketing actions to take.
2) You have a consistent lead-capture strategy
Running out of leads/prospects? It may not be the economy’s fault. Take a look at your web site for starters. Make sure the very first page of your web site invites the visitor to take action – to give you their contact information in exchange for a valuable freebie. This grows your list of prospects every single day and gives you people to follow-up with.
And consider your other forms of marketing and how you make connections. Do you have a way to consistently identify your ideal prospects? And when they show up, do you have an irresistible freebie they would definitely want? If not, then you may not want to complain about the recession just yet. There’s an opportunity to plug up the holes in your prospect-attracting and prospect-capture process. The more you grow your list of prospects, the greater your opportunity for increased revenue.
3) You have a tenacious follow-up process
Of course, it’s not enough to get leads/prospects. We have to follow up. Take a look at your office desk. Is there a stack of collected business cards, notes to call someone back, and other clues that you have a flawed follow-up process? Here’s a true story… right now I’m practically begging another business owner to take my money. I’m the one doing the follow-up phone calls. I truly want what they’re selling yet they’re a little too busy to sell it to me. Hello?
If you’re guilty of not following up with prospects and other contacts… or, if you haven’t picked up the phone to connect with some strategic partners lately, then you may not want to complain about the recession just yet. There’s a golden opportunity to create a consistent, reliable follow-up process that turns into cash for your business.
4) You commit to massive profit-focused action
As entrepreneurs, we typically are not short on ideas for growing our businesses. We tend to be very creative. But we are often short on action. We get bogged down in the minutia of our businesses.
Might there be a stash of incomplete brilliant ideas that you can turn into money for your business? Is there an opportunity to change how you work each day so that you’re truly focused on profit-producing tasks vs. minutia? Then it may not be time to complain about the recession just yet. Wake up tomorrow with a bold and unstoppable determination to bring that idea to reality. Or, take a no-excuses approach to completing that major profit-generating project or task. It may just be the thing that brings in the clients and cash you need.

Frontpage to Database Website
This was important to me, as I have been in business for 5 years and have certain ways of doing things.
So they actually customized the product pages for me so that the images were 300×400 and also that little thumbnail pictures of alternative images were viewable, you just hover your mouse over and it shows the bigger picture.
This is a really cool feature, as the person can see more images and angles before deciding to purchase. Some of my products had 10 different photos (or colours) and with the modifications they made for me, all these images were now available.
With my old site I just had 5 categories of products, and the store pages had a long list of things available to purchase. But with the new CMS website, we could actually add sub-categories to make it easier for people to find stuff.
This has worked really well. For example instead of just having “Clothing” section of our breastfeeding products, we separated this into Long Sleeve, Short Sleeve, Singlets subcategories.
I decided to have US, AUD, Euro – but could have chosen any.
I’m in New Zealand and they are in San Diego, but that has not hindered our work at all. It has actually been to my benefit, as when I am doing my work late at night, they are online too.
Sometimes they stay up to the wee hours of the morning when we are going through things together. I can never tell what time it is with them, as they work around the clock it seems, but it has definitely worked to my advantage.
Now I can spend my time with my family and handling sales which are pouring in since people have seen the new website and sales were good on the old site but this new site is SOOOOOO easy.
SEO for large Website
And SEO quote I did a few months ago, for a 200 page website, that was selling products that cost over $1,000,000 dollars each. The client only wanted people that were ready to buy their products to visit the site.
1. What is SEO and how would affect your website
SEO is a variety of marketing and optimization techniques that bring viable clients to an online business
not to look around but to purchase services or goods.
Some of these techniques are called Onpage SEO:
Onpage SEO is manipulation and fine tuning of the unseen code beneath a webpage. This information an SEO fine tunes tells the search engines and people doing searches for your products what’s on a particular webpage.
I write this Onpage code in a very specific way, which highlights some of the list of keywords and key phrases I am working with. This makes every page an entry page into your website and means that your website can appear highly in search engine search results for many phrases instead of only a few which
is what most SEO work towards.
Then there is Offpage SEO optimization and this can mean many, many different things… basically
known as link building in several different ways, and perhaps Pay Per Click(PPC) campaigns, paid
advertising on the types of websites your clients would be going to.
As you said on the phone, you aren’t interested in getting visitors who spend all their time at eBay; you
want visitors that are looking to buy your products that cost over 1 million dollars each.
So in this case I would suggest you do pay for advertising in some of the higher income places online, where your customers browse and shop.
Once my SEO changes begin taking affect it will compliment the work your marketing team is doing; think of SEO as an internet based marketing plan that uses very different techniques from traditional market strategies it is all about getting your brand and company recognized.
So the idea wouldn’t necessarily be to get clicks and visitors to your site (unless they are buying) , but to get your name being talked about in the right circles. I don’t know how much attention your marketing team is paying to the internet at this stage, but it is a very important part of advertising in today’s world. I will make your website a good point of introduction into your very specialized product.
What I can do for this website
1. I was mistaken when I first looked at your site, it isn’t all flash as I first thought; this is a very good. It
means I can start work and the changes I make will take effect immediately. I should be able to get this
site ranking very highly, within the first 2 or 3 rankings for any given search, although I haven’t checked
out your competition yet, I wouldn’t think you have a lot of completion.
2. I would first optimize all webpages so the Onpage SEO is relevant to the actual page content; at present,
most of your pages are competing with each other for search rankings.
3. While google is indexing this first round of onsite (another word for Onpage) optimization, I would then
do a lot of research into keywords that it should be optimized for. This entails perhaps 200 hours investigating keywords and the sort of things people search for, and then researching which pages would be best suited for which phrases and then adding to the optimization I first did. Google likes changes on websites, so making website changes close together is a good idea. I would also start some off page optimization; I have staff that does this type of work, who report to me several times a day.
4. All of the wording on the site is very hard to read, as it is stark white on blue; I have someone that could
change this making the words much easier to read. You have a beautiful website but it needs to be a
little more user friendly.
SEO Timeline
First let me say that I spend my whole day on a computer approx 16 hours a day, so if I say I will work on something for 50 hours this doesn’t mean it will take 8 days to do; it would be more like 3½ days. I work 7 days a week, totally addicted to my work; I’m mobility disabled, and don’t have a life away from the computer. ? I wasn’t quite sure how to set out this quote, as I have no idea of your budget.
The site seems to have a few problems that visitors will encounter, especially with the Navigation, and I would have them seen to immediately.
1. The first thing I would do is analyze the current website statistics (if they have any), see where your website visitors are coming from and how they are arriving at your website. We need to have a thorough understanding of where we are at so we can see where we have to go. If you don’t currently have access to website statistics, the first thing I would need to do is add Google Analytics code (we will get Analytics working for you anyway, but it is vital I get a good idea of the type of traffic your site is generating.
2. The initial Onpage SEO: for approximately 40 webpages 20?25 hours.
3. Search engine submission, Google and yahoo sitemaps, general Offpage optimizations 40 hours
4. Approx 200 hours researching keywords and website analyses, adding to the Onpage Meta material 100 hours researching the advertising campaign your marketing team establishes and perhaps complimenting their work with SEO tactics. 80?120 hours: starting a link building campaign, using several different techniques and strategies.
5. 30?50 hours handling anything as it comes up
6. Total Approx 500 hours 7?8 weeks
It doesn’t sound much, but that would take approx 6?7 weeks to complete full time work, although results would start to show with a couple of weeks for a site like yours, that is a mature site.
It isn’t advantageous to have too many links to a website appearing too quickly so link building would carry on for several months and rather than work on getting thousands of useless links, I’d suggest paying for a few good links that will help your pages ranking in google in the short term.
Ongoing work on a monthly basis should be seriously considered for at least 6 months after the initial
SEO work is done. This SEO work includes link building, constant (daily checking of statistics) and making changes or tweaking the Onpage optimization as required. Collating and submitting a month report, as to what’s happening with the site, and perhaps meeting with the marketing dept to discuss any new marketing strategies they maybe implementing; so I can see that the website is optimized correctly for the people that maybe searching for the site.
This work would average out to about 3?5 hours a day, so 120 hours a month, for 6 months.
Cost of SEO: I generally say that as a rule of thumb, that 10% of the yearly advertising budget should be spent on SEO. However this won’t be necessary for this project.
Initial SEO Approx 500 hours 7?8 weeks
? $37,500 2 payments 1 month apart $20,000 then $17.500
Ongoing SEO.
120 hours per month for 6 extra months = 720 hours
? $54,000 $9,000 per month Starting on the 3rd month after initial SEO is paid for.
Or $7700 per month for a year, and changing the monthly SEO to 60 hours per month.

I had a quote request this morning to rebuild a hand built website of over 1000 webpages, pages were built in a number of different programs including several versions of Corel WordPerfect and Frontpage
Rebuilding a large hand-built website onto an easier to manage CMS website can seem to the website owner a daunting prospect, but can cost much less than you would expect. Especially if the owner wants to help out with moving pages from the old site to the new website and they usually do want to stay in control of their website.

With the very limited information you have here and on the quote request, and looking at your site in Google, it looks as though you have about 1090 pages indexed by Google, and perhaps more not yet found.
I can see that one problem you have is lack of navigation on the site only links back to the home page. Still someone has worked long and hard on your site, how many visitors are you receiving now each month?
It would be irresponsible to give you a accurate quote for both the rebuilding and the SEO we’d need to discuss more, exactly what, if anything you are wanting to do to help, someone has worked hard on this site and maybe happy to carry on working. We have a website that would allow you and your staff to add pages yourself with ease,(CMS) and in fact we have just finished a website of 1700 pages, the owner did most of that work transferring pages from her old site herself.

Oddly enough, the SEO would be easier and cheaper than you would think for a very large site. Depending on the keywords and how competitive those keywords are.
In Saying that, a ballpark figure to rebuild the site could cost as little $3000 if you and staff did a lot of copy and pasting or as much as $25,000 (for 1090 pages) if we did everything ourselves, we could do the site ourselves in as little as a 4-6 weeks, perhaps less. We have staff we can call on to help.
We’d build the site on our servers, and move it to your hosting severs when everything is done so your website won’t be down for any longer than an hour in the changeover. The redirects from existing webpages would take a little longer, as they need to be done once the site is live.
SEO for the site again depending on the keywords and how competitive they are, could cost as anywhere from $10,000 to $100,000 but more likely closer to $12,000, SEO doesn’t require any help on your part, but the cost depends on the results you want to achieve … $12,000 which is what I usually charge for a 40-60 page website. I’d suggest starting with $12,000 and seeing what that achieves in a couple of months after the site goes live, and look at more if necessary. We could discuss this more during construction.
We do offer payment plans especially for the SEO to spread payments out over 6-12-18 months if more intensive work is required.
This will give you a starting point costwise, as I’m sure you have to talk to others.

Review for Content Managment System CMS
Review: For CANZ Designs Search Engine Friendly – Content Management System SEF-CMS
I have been working with Canz Design for the past few months, getting my new CMS site ready. My previous website was something I’d done myself, and had been using for the past 5 years, but it was reaching its limit because it was such a manual process for me to add new pages or new products. It was very time consuming and labour intensive to create the pages so that the side links would all update, and I would have to check my emails daily just incase a product had sold out, and would then have to update my website. I always had ideas on articles to write, and pages that my customers would fine useful, but it was always such a time consuming process.
I have been helping create the pages for the new site, and transferring everything over from my old site. But in the process, I added 1,000 extra pages of useful content because it was just so easy to make new pages. Even easier than writing blog posts. So my page number has increased from 700 to 1700 since the new CMS site is loaded. I am sure this will really help my google ranking – but will update you on that in a few months.
With the new CMS site I love how the menus are so easy to change, and navigation around the site is very easy for the shopper. But its also really easy for me to keep all my pages neatly filed in the different folders.
Canz design worked with me tirelessly to get the right look for the site. This was something that I was very conscious of, and wanted the site to look 100% perfect. To tie in with the image of my brand and existing use of colours.
Its been one week since we launched the new baby. I’ve definitely noticed an increase in the sale of obscure little products, the things that were slow sellers with my old site. It was probably because no body could find them or knew that I sold them. A lot of these “obscure” things, I have actually added as a small thumbnail “related product” at the bottom of popular pages, and it has helped increase the Add on Sales. Its really easy to do these things with the new site.
Preparing the new site beforehand did take a while, but there was plenty of opportunity for me to learn how the new system worked. Canzdesign loaded everything onto a temporary server for me, so that every page could be fully tested before we transferred it over. Then the transfer process took less than an hour, I was really surprised. It was almost like ‘click the switch’ and the new website was loaded. Not a single customer was inconvenienced.
I was initially quite dubious about changing to a new CMS site, but this has really made my life easier and I can see the benefits for the future. Although it has only been one week here are a couple of examples:
- A supplier notified me on Friday that they were discounting products by 25% for 72 hours. I decided to pass on the savings to my customers. Within 60 minutes I had discounted all the prices for about 40 products (of their brand) on the website, contacted my database of 7,000 to tell them about the quick sale, checked all stock available. Then my family and I actually went to Rotorua for the weekend, and I had no computer access. With my old website, I would have had to update the store pages when a certain size had sold out, to ensure that noone else would purchase it (so I had to be around whenever there was a web sale). But with the new CMS site, if a size sells out, it just drops out. So I did not need to worry about this at all. And just came home to lots of orders to pack.
- Another example, is for some of my products we have lots of different spare parts available. With my old site, I just had a long list of the parts available and people would email me for a quotation. This was purely because the thought of loading all those separate products into my old store was daunting, and I was too lazy. But today I loaded the popular spare parts, it was painless. This was something that I should have done at least two years ago, but had never got around too. Now people can just buy them online, and they don’t need to email me about it. So this will cut down on my workload too.
I’ll give you another update after we settle in, as it has only been a week.

Great SEO costs more than $1000
Getting great results in search engines for relevant keywords for your business, which is what good SEO means, isn’t something you can expect to pay one $1000 for.
But even if you are looking at say a budget of $5000-$10,000 for your business website to rank well in google, for many keywords/phrases, depending on the type of business you have and your competition you still can’t expect your website to rank #1 for a single word or even 2 word searches.
I can’t count the number of times I have had a client say they want to rank #1 for some generic word/s like Cars, motel, bar or real estate, and they are willing to pay $500 …. sorry, it aint going to happen.
Not even for 1000 x that budget, well ok, maybe half a million dollars it might be possible depending on the word, but it isn’t going to happen overnight, not even in 6 months. In saying that, in Australian Google one of my clients ranks #3 for the keyword gemstones, but still wikipedia gets 1st and 2nd place.
That same client does rank #1 and #2 for just the word gemstones if you do the www.google.com.au pages from Australia search Check here This site gets about 500 visitors a month for just the word.
This client has held these positions for the word gemstones for over 5 years after I finished doing her website optimization. At the time her optimization cost around $2500 I think. Even so, the word gemstones is a lot easier to optimize a site for, in a country specific search engine than if the site sold cars, or had a motel.
In general if you want to play with the big kids on the block in a search engine, you have to pay your SEO for the hugh amount of work they are going to have to do to get your site ranking that highly.
On the other hand for an odd word like Canz our businessname a search in google.com will see our sites ranking 3rd and 4th, thats not a lot of good to us, unless someone remembers out business name though huh.

Ruling Google for some keywords
Gone are the days when SEO meant just having 1 link to your website on the front page of google for some keyword/phrase.
For a few years now, I have been working on having maybe 3 or 4(sometimes 8 out of 10) links at least within those 1st 10 placements on the first page of google. Imagine a potential client or customers reaction when they see your businessname listed in places 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, or 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th and 10th on the first page of google.
Getting results like this isn’t easy, but it is doable, I have done it for 4 businesses in ‘09 plus our own websites for various phrases. If an estimated 89% of people click on a link, and spend money, on a result in the first page of google search results, then you increase your chances of getting someone $$ dramatically.
You’re investment in these sort of results isn’t going to be $1000, or even $5000, but if you are serious about your business, you could spend more than that on a full page newspaper add, that only seen for one day.

1. Use keywords on your web content. You will need to sprinkle generous amount of keywords not only on your home page but also on all pages of your website. They must be strategically placed on your content in such a way that you’ll be able to help search spiders in analyzing your web content. Use keywords on your headings, on your tags and on your descriptions. However, make sure that you adhere to the appropriate keyword density to avoid being penalized by Google.
2. Build links. Inbound links tell Google and other search engines that your website is informative thus, it’s worth linking to. Do an extensive research and find those people who are running a website that compliments your website’s theme. Get their contact information and convince them to link with you. I wouldn’t lie about it; this can be a time-consuming and overwhelming task but your effort and time will surely worth it.
3. Off page optimization techniques. Aside from emailing webmasters and getting them to link with you, you can also obtain high quality inbound links from other relevant sites through article marketing, blog hopping, and forum posting. Share a slice of your expertise to online users and post your site’s URL on your resource box or on your signature. If your audience were impressed with the information you offered, they are most likely to give your site a visit.

Organic SEO vs PPC
I am currently being courted by someone wanting SEO done (maybe), they currently spend $1000 a month on PPC and have been for over 2 years, and never had a sale and you can’t find the site in the SERP’s except for either the businessname or obscure key phrases.
I’m suggesting that they use the money they are spending on PPC on organic SEO… Organic SEO is ranking well in search engines naturally….
… the client to be is dithering, thinking that at least the site is getting about 500 visitors regularly… and can’t seem to understand… yet, that maybe a month or 2 with few visitors is worth it is if then the site ranks well in the search engines naturally without having to pay PPC forever more.

Great SEO what can you expect from SEO
Many times prospective clients expect a lot from SEO, yet don’t consider it is worth much paying for.
It is possible, I have done it several times, to have not only 1 of a sites pages listed at say #1 on the search results page, but also if enough is invested in a good SEO like me, to also have say 9 or 10 results on the first page of google search results, or any search engine for that matter.
At present, doing a search for
the first result for the map is our site then the next 11 results under the map are also for our SEO services here in San Diego. I could have done the SEO in such a way as to have 4 or 5 listings in the map section of the search, but didn’t want to be greedy…

hide_my_ip program posting so support staff can read my reply
The support Staff of hide_my_ip program haven’t been able to “see” my replies to 11 emails I have replied to them asking for a refund, after their program didn’t work, so I’m posting the email I have emailed them 11 times here and will post it on facebook as well, they must be able to see it somehow. I have cut the same aol, same old replies from them out to make it easier for them to read.
I hope you can see it now, I’ll leave this here, so other people that might have the same problem can compare issues.

1. Are you visiting a website that is telling you what your real IP address is?
- If yes, please provide the URL.

2. What process or activity are you engaging in with your browser, if any, that indicates to you that your IP is not being hidden?
Analyzing website statistics, my usual IP has named so I can tell when I visited sites, and that IP is still the same as usual.
3. Are you receiving any error message from the software to indicate that the software is not functioning correctly?
No, it looks like the software is working, until I see my usual IP showing… that is why I didn’t ask for a refund earlier, and tried so hard to make this program work, I want it to work, but it isn’t.
- If so, type out the error message(s) in a reply.
4. What version of Hide My IP do you have? (1.9, 2007, 2008, 2009, 5.0) 5.0
5. What browser(s) are you using and if you’re using Firefox, have you installed our plug-in?

Yes it said somewhere in England, or japan, or somewhere else in the USA.

I don’t have the program anymore, after installing it on my laptop, I started to get bluescreens, and after unistalling and installing several times as instructed, with reboots after ever uninstall and reinstall, that laptop evenly wouldn’t start at all, it’s only 2 years old, or wouldn’t get past the windows start screen. I don’t know if it was the IP program, but it was the only thing I have installed in about 6 months, so I’m guessing it was.
I managed to get a copy of my emails, but otherwise I lost over 100 gigs of data I am trying to find on backup files, I really don’t have time to write these emails to you for a program that I think killed my windows installation, and that I don’t have anymore.I’m using another computer until my laptop can be reformatted.
I have lost enough, I just want a refund please.

I wrote complaining the issues soon after I installed the paid version, and was sent an email reply with a list of things to do. Nothing worked, the program kept saying it was working but when I checked on a what’s my ip type site the ip’s I was SUPPOSED TO Have wasn’t the IP it was showing, it was my same old IP I’ve always had.
I have since changed computers, and reformatted the old computer, there are no versions of the program anywhere, and I want a refund to my paypal account at lynny@canzdesign.com

1. There are 2 (or more) versions of the software installed in your computer 2. The computer was not restarted after the install and/or 3. The browser was still up and running during the install, it was not closed, and Hide My IP was activated when the browser was already running

You can of course find your own new webhost if you would like.
Will all the page names stay the same? SEO with a breastfeeding website.
I was approached recently by someone that wanted to do her own onsite SEO, just wanted to know what to do.
So we settled on a price, an upfront price, and six months of smaller payments, and now this site owner is as busy as a bee, doing all the onsite work required, all the repetitive work that takes so long to do. I can’t keep up with her, she truly is an inspiration.
She’s had the site for a few years, about 5 years I think.
She designed the first product a pure wool pads to help control leaks for breast feeding mums herself. Then went on to make hemp breast pads since they apparently absorb the leaks better….I’m not an expert in this sort of thing, my baby feeding days are well over.
The site has gone from strength to strength, she has about 100 different products onsite, and now with these changes she’s doing she should be doing really well in search engines in a few months.
She is truly a pleasure to watch, I have known the owner through a bulletin board for a few years, and taken interest in her website, giving her a few hints with her old site.
The point is, the site wasn’t an instant success, but she has kept at it, and made it a success, through pure sweat and I guess a few tears over the years.
She didn’t just put the site up, and expect people to come and buy her goods, then “pack a sad” and give up when they didn’t. She dug her toes in and made it a challenge to make her site work, she went on to think of new things to do like revamp the site, giving it new look, a better checkout system, went out on the internet, and got her site known through going to forums, she made her site work.
That is the sort of person you don’t see often in the world of websites.
As I have said the site sells things for pregnant and breastfeeding mums, their babies and baby products, go on, go take a look, and if you are pregnant then definitely have a look, and buy something while you are there.
I certainly enjoy helping the owner of this site for mothers and their babies out.
I must say I would like to do more of this type of work, with people that already have built their own sites and are happy with them, but just want help with the SEO. I think I’ll limit it to those people that have shown they won’t give up, and owned a site for a few years, but still I’d like to do this type of work more.
I will not give me hard-earned expertise away for nothing, but the owner of this site has saved herself about $2500 by doing it herself. Way to go Frances from www.breastmates.co.nz !!!!!

It’s the words in a link that matter.
When linking between pages on your website, or from another website to your site, it’s the actual words used in the link that matter. just haing something like www.seobycanz.com SEOwise is not that helpful for getting your website to rank highly in search engines for various terms.
If on the other hand I had the chance to use a link like SEO in San Diego, Southern California, USA and you had enough of links like that sooner or later you would start ranking well for that phrase.
A prime example is the click here example, many many website around the world, have a click here link to the adobe free pdf reader. And if you do a search for click here, even though those actual words aren’t on the website itself, it ranks #1 in google, and probably every other search engine wordwide.
So whenever you get the chance to make keywords into links use it.

How often should a website be upgraded
Like everything in the computer world, websites need to be upgraded regularly. Plus they need to have a face lift now and then too. I website that is run using php, or is database driven will last about 4-5 years. As technology gets more complex and codes become out of date. So if you have a website that is successful, you should budget for a rebuild every 4-5 maybe 6 years. Html website will last a lot longer, but then they can’t do a lot of things that database websites can, html websites are really something for personal websites, and shouldn’t be considered when looking at building a professional websites. Professional websites need to look professional, and changing that have to be made to an html website have to be made on every page, whereas on a database website, one change say in the menu, will change the menu’s on the whole site. Of course, there are many other things that make database driven websites better than an html website, but this post is about how often you should look at rebuilding your site. I would also suggest you give your website a new updated look every couple of years, this does not cost much, and can make the world of difference to a website. How do you SEO a database driven website?
This is an easy question to answer, a coder needs to change the code of the site, making it possible for changes to be made to the various part of the site, that your visitor doesn’t see. Some people don’t believe in using meta tags, for the most part I do, but still database driven urls need to be changed to search engine friendly ones, page titles, and a few other little places, need coding changes in order for a database driven website to become Search engine friendly. Many database driven websites are starting to become out of date, the code that runs them is becoming old, and within a year or two there will be many website that will need to be totally rebuilt as the server, the place that hosts the website will be upgrading their servers and the older style websites will just not work. Are several websites better than one?
A question that I’m often asked is it better to have several websites, or just a whole lot of information on one website. It depends on how much money you have, but several websites, each on a specific subject, is better than one big website that has many things all mixed up together. SEO-wise several websites on similar but different subjects is a dream. If you did have several websites, the idea would be to have the sites linked together; the sites could even look pretty much the same, so people would not necessarily know that they are going to another website. The problem is of course is keeping several websites up-to-date is a big job, but that is when you hire an SEO that’s also a web designer like me, to make sure the sites all running smoothly. Since my partner the graphic artist and web designer is now in San Diego, Southern California, I have been doing some testing, and getting her to do some search engine searches for me, the exact same ones I have done here in New Zealand, and the results are quite different.
I always knew this was so, becuase google has several datacenters where it draws it’s results from, but never had a chance to prove it before.

Off page SEO Why you need it. Part 3
Many search engines users do not look beyond the first 5 natural search results, and definitely past the first page, unless they are looking for something very specific piece of information.
This is where search engine marketing, or search engine optimization becomes very important, since if you website doesn’t show on the first page of the search engine results, then your site may not even get visited.
It’s most important too that you use phrases your website is optimized for are actually words that people search for, it’s of no use at all to optimize your website for a words that no-one searches for or few people search for, it only make sense why.
So the hardest and most time consuming part of SEO is to find out what people actually search for, and often the results are often surprising, I know they are for me, you’d be amazed the number of people that for instances search for just one word.
One of the sites I have been optimizing for years now, often the word that finds their site the most is the word “faceted 1st most common search” or “rough” others are “gemstones 2nd most common” or “gems” . I would have thought that word combinations would be been more what people searched for eg. “rough garnets” which is the 4th most searched for.
The one good thing about ranking highly for just one word often means that phrases with those single words in them also rank highly. EG: in her website statistics which only shows the first 1000 keyphrases people used to find her website, and the word ‘gemstones” is part of 296 other phrases used to find her website.
Once a list of keywords have been established, then making the website do well for those words isn’t nearly as hard. Well for me it isn’t very hard, depending of course on the words you want to rank highly for in search engines.
Most sites, especially in New Zealand don’t have optimization, or not good optimization, so having them rank highly isn’t hard, in many cases working with a website that wants to rank well in search engines for the whole word yet be known for being a New Zealand website, like a motel, or tourism website it is much easier.
So when looking at the price guide my website on the site, do take into consideration that each site is different, and each website owners requirements are different, so each price quote will be different.
After I have done SEO on a website, one question I’m often asked is how to get more people to my website. There is really only one way to increase the number of visitors to a website, and that is by having more content (webpages) on the site. This doesn’t mean you must have menu’s that are a mile long with umpteen dozen links on it, it just means having one extra link on your site map to a page called “articles”
Articles about your particular business in my case SEO articles can either be found on the internet, already written, and you can is use them just for giving credit to and a live link to the author, you could write them yourself, or get a ghost writer to write them.
Ghostwriters are often a good option you are have a website that needs unique content. The ghostwriter I use is unique in that is and English speaking woman. She is used to writing for webpage’s, so she knows how to write content that will not only be just content but also will be search engine friendly.
Therefore, your website will rank highly in search engines, for more words that may not actually be something you would rank for. I’ll use the example of a hotel again, if you were to have articles written about the various attractions in your area, one article maybe about the four ski fields with the area of your hotel.
Although you may mention the ski field on your website once on one of your pages, if there was any article specifically about those ski fields, and optimized for ski fields the your accommodation or motel website will rank highly in search engines.
You may ask how this will do any good for you, well when you add these articles to your website, you have your top banner and menu as part of the page, or just a link to homepage, and then your visitor can visit the rest of your website.
This article was written about optimization that was not done on your website. This option of having articles written can work in other ways, since those same articles can be submitted to article directory’s, and from their click to your sites. The obvious benefit about putting the articles on your own site, is people are already on your site, and can see you are a hotel. This then makes it all the easier for them to book their accommodations.

Offpage SEO what is it?
SEO. How making your website search engine friendly can be done without access to your website.
Ideally, I should have access to your website so I can make a few behind the scenes changes to make your website more search engine friendly, however this is not the only way to make your website get more visitors.
The techniques I spoke about the behind the scenes ones, will have instant effects, and can start working within a week, for an established website, but there are other things that can be done, that won’t be work so quickly, but definitely do work over time, you should start seeing results in about 6 to 8 months. Often less if you decide to make a larger investment at the start which of course means more work can be done immediately.
This maybe more suited to some websites, especially if there site has a season that their website is most used for, eg: a ski lodge, or a motel that caters especially to something that happens at certain times of the year.
Doing this type of offsite website marketing can also have the obvious advantage that the investment you make is my search engine marketing skills can be spread out over a year rather than a larger down payment then with smaller ongoing monthly payments.
This offsite website marketing is part of the work I usually do anyway, it’s a technique called link building, and means finding usually one-way links to your website. If search engines see that you have a lot of links going to your website, and very few leaving your website, they see your website as important, and decides that your website should be ranked higher in search engines results.
It makes sense when you think about it, a website with many links to it must be an important website, and therefore should be seen more often.

Offpage seo how can it work? Part 2
Off page SEO is basically building links to your website from all over the internet, without your site linking back that site.
I had a client recently that decided he wanted to do this kind of website marketing for his website, but didn’t want to wait for months for the results. The price range for his products is between $1000 to $8000 for standard equipment.
He asked me if he was to invest $15,000 in a lump sum, and then $2000 a month, what sort of results could he expect. We discussed options, and I explained that if the search engines were to see a large amount of links like thousands of inks all show up to his site within a few days… which although could be done, that the search engines may become suspicious, so we decided that we would spend the first investment over two months, at a steady rate. And then carry on at a slower rate over the year.
I have 4 different ways of building one-way links to a website, and within 4 weeks, the amount of visitors actually making purchases was increasing, by 200% by the end of the second month the client was thrilled at the rate of extra sales, and decided to invest another large investment in my services. Then after 5 months, his sales have increased over 1800%.
This client is very good at replying to emails, although very clear on what he does and does not wants he is open to suggestions, and has asked what would be the process if I was to take over as his webmaster and do this onsite optimization and could he expect even better results.
Presently his site is ranking at between 8 and 15 on the search engine rankings for around 100 relevant searches, so with onsite optimization he could expect rankings of 1st – 3rd position in search engines, so he could expect an increase of at least 80 more visitors from each keyword take the higher ranking. Presently he has just 0ver 500 keywords that people are finding his website for so he could reasonably expect an increase of about 35,000 visitors.
He is considering having me do onsite SEO, now.

Why does website need SEO? The truth
Website need seo quite frankly, so they get found in search engines when people do searches.
If you website has been online for a few months, you are probably listed in Google, along with a million other people in the world doing what you are doing, without seo you simply won’t stand out from the crowd.
Be thoughtful too, that maybe you have something unique, that no-one is doing, then then how would anyone know what to look for.
A few years ago I did the seo on a website that we had built, it sold photos of your loved ones or house whatever engraved in would by a special machine. I’d never heard of the machine, and tried to encourage the owner to optimize his website for photo engravings, and engrave photos in would, and things people might search for. But no, he insisted that I optimize his site for a CNC machined engravings and nothing else.
The website had no content to speak of, but I did manage to get a few other phrases in there.
He ranked #1 in every search engine for CNC machined engravings, but in the year the site was online, he didn’t get a single click for that particular phrase.
I have a client at the moment that is doing something else, and when I told her the same thing, she’s making teaching videos, but has a special name for it, I told her the same thing, and again, she said if they don’t know what it is then we don’t want them as clients.
So I optimised her website with the words she wanted and she’s doing very well in search engines, and again is only getting the odd click.
So if you are doing something unique you have to cater for people that actually wouldn’t know what it is you are doing, but would want it anyway if they knew what it was.

How do search engines work?
The way search engines work is simple really. If the exact phrase someone searches for is there on a webpage, to 2 specific places, then that page will be #1. The problem is when the same phrase is on many pages over the web, then it comes down to the most popular websites or well optimised websites get’s ranked highly, the others follow. The other problem is people search for the oddest things, in the oddest ways. While I might search for “how do search engines work” you might search for, “search engines, how do they work” “search engine, what makes them work” or “what makes one webpage rank higher than another in a search engine”. If you read my other article, then you will see that just because you rank well in one search, it doesn’t mean you will do well for the other phrases. Search engines also go on from just searching for the exact phrase, if the exact phrase isn’t there, then the look for WebPages with most of the words in the search somewhere on the page, and it carry’s on looking until it might only find one or two words from a phrase on a page. My job as an seo, is to get your site ranking as highly as it can with as many different ways of saying the same thing. And then as many different ways of saying something slightly different. Seo Hint: Why do similar searches rank differently
My main job as a good SEO for you is to make your website findable in search engines for whatever people might search for that is a product or service maybe shown on your particular website, or at the least as many as possible searches. That is not as easy as it might sound, because as you may imagine people can and do search for the same thing in different ways. Here I have used the words Australian Blue Sapphire, with variants of Australia and sapphires.
See how Australia Sapphires is ranked #1, yet Australian Sapphire ranked #12 in goggle for a search.
This particular website has many different kinds of gemstones, but next I would obviously work on Australian sapphires, blue sapphire and sapphire blue.
I hope this illustrates that although a website might be doing well for one search that another search that may be very similar may not be doing well at all.
My point is people search for the same thing is several different ways, all the searches above I found in a list of 2268 different searches people made for this site and found it.
Most good website hosts have website statistics, where you can check what visitors to the site are doing, how long they stayed, and what search they used to find the site.
The 3 search strings above that aren’t doing as well in Google, will be doing well in some other search engine, so that’s probably how they are found, most people don’t bother searching past the second page in search engines, unless they are looking for something specific. In fact only, something like .2% search past page 1 of a search results, so if you are not on that first page, then your competitor get’s the click, and you miss out on a sale.
There are several ways that I get all these various searches covered in search engines, however for me to do the very best job I can, I need access to the website itself, the behind the scenes part of the site.
Many website owners are concerned that their web designer may not be happy with giving this information especially if that web designer offers SEO services as well. This can be a problem, but it is your website, and you should be given the login information when the site was first built.
Other website owners are thoroughly sick of their original web designer, who has a bad after sales service, taking months to make simple changes, or even weeks to answer email. Often then it’s just as easy for me to set up changing website host, hosting for most websites should only cost $5-$10 depending on how much support the owner needs.
Once access is gained to the website, I can often get your website ranking well in several search results, sometimes within days if the site has been online for a year or so.
Another site I do SEO for is a gift basket website, and I was showing someone the work I do, and how it would work, I did a search for one particular phrase I had worked on 18 hours after I had done the work. I was bowled over when it was ranked at #1 on page 1. I was thinking I would have to show this friend, that the phrase was on page 20 which it was when I did the changes the day before.
That did show though that Google definitely was looking at the site regularly it just was not finding the information it needed to rank the site highly. That particular site now receives visitors from 747 keywords and keyphrases.
And the owner has just sold the business, on the strength of how well the website is ranking in search engines, and how many sales she’s now making through the website Big browne point for me and my seo skills

Being a dyslexic writer
Having dyslexia and being able to, and desperately wanting to write is a challenge few could understand or appreciate the challenge of. Apart from not being able to spell many words, which a majority of the time the computer spell check takes care of. If I actually know which of the words, if gives me as a choice is the correct one, as many of the words have the same letters. It’s often a case of choosing one, and then seeing if the computer picks up that I’ve used a word in the wrong context. I must have the longest auto correct list in the history of computer spell checks. Actually, it isn’t that long, since I recently lost it in a reformat, but before that, all the words that I knew I spelt wrong were there, often with 2 or 3 variations of how I might have spelt it, and then how it should be spelt. I also have this very handy little spell check/dictionary type program that will say the word for me, that get’s used at least 40 or 50 times a day. It all means that writing even an email is rather a long drawn out process….. For the rest of the article of being a Dyslexic writer take a look at the link. However does that mean the word I actually wanted to use is wrong, or does that mean I have chosen the wrong word from the list of possible ones the spell-check gave me. There are times often, when the word I want if the word isn’t in the list of choices.
Those times I change various letters around, until the word I want becomes an option. When I get a word, that the computer says I have spelt correctly, I have to check that that word is actually the word I wanted to use.

I was just looking at a website for sale on an auction here in New Zealand, and it said “ It has full SEO and listed with Google, Yahoo, Live, NZ Search, Finda, Wises”
Simply being listed in a search engine does NOT mean a website has SEO and certainly not Full SEO. It simply means it’s listed in search engines.
Most websites that have been online for a while can be found in search engines. All that is required to appear in a search engine is 1 live link, that’s a link you can click on and it takes you to the website, and the website the way it is, and search engines the way they are your site will appear in search engines. Web hosting is a service providing users with server/computer space via web access used for storing information, images, video, content or website information. What is the difference between a country domain extension (ccTLD) and a .com (TLD) extension and which extension do I need?
Country code top-level domain (ccTLD) – The two letters following the final dot of any domain name represent your country code such as .co.nz or .com.au. Use a ccTLD if you do not expect to market internationally as you will get your site into local search engines quicker.
Top-level domain (TLD) – A .com domain name is used by companies with a global market and easily recognized as a international business.

No definitely not. Both pricing and service can vary depending on the provider. If the cheapest price is your primary concern and you are prepared to put up with your website not working properly or being offline for a few days here and there then there are plenty of companies out there and you shouldn’t need to pay more than $10 per month.
